Mimmenuk Registered Alaskan Malamutes makes its home in Beautiful Southern Ontario Canada. We are nestled deep in the woods, only a stone's throw away from most major centers and close to three major USA border crossings. We have been breeding, showing and working this wonderful breed since 1998 but have been owned by some members since 1994. We only breed dogs that meet up to the breed standard and have all their health clearances. Our philosophy is that 'JUST BECAUSE IT COMES INTO SEASON, DOES NOT MEAN IT NEEDS TO BE BRED'
If you are looking to add an Alaskan Malamute puppy or older dog to your family, please take the following into consideration. ALL Alaskan Malamutes are strong willed and independent thinkers. They are not robots and they are not for the weak of heart or first time dog owners, unless you do alot of research and are up to a big challenge.
Please do not contact us if you live in a Condo or an Apartment or do not have a proper fenced in yard. Malamutes are working dogs. Even though Malamutes make wonderful family pets, if properly introduced, trained and socialized, they retain many of their primitive inherent attributes. Therefore, they are not the ideal dog to adopt into a family with very young children or other small dogs or animals. All inquiries are carefully screened, to make sure that your lifestyle and family circumstances are suited to the breed.
